Sony/ Bose, Westfield Hornsby, 2001

Lexis Design was commissioned to design this 1000sq.m fitout divided equally between Sony and Bose products. The focus of the design was to create a separate yet cohesive shop for two brands within the same retail space. A sense of interaction lends a uniqueness that enhances the experience of the user. Japanese inspired screen displays to the centre of the shopfront sent out a warm and bold invitation to the viewers. Bose used their products on display in a home lifestyle setting. A crisp white interior assisted in creating a focus onto the products to the maximum. This retail space has helped redefine the notion of the experience of retail spaces.
