The existing 130 sq.m practice designed by Lexie in 1999 was to be expanded into the neighbouring tenancy of 75sq.m. It involved a clever use of space planning to skilfully utilize the constraints of size and contours of the site to an advantage. The concept had a fresh and bold approach rather than traditional, as was evident in a bright tangerine/red fabric upholstered walls and the “throne” like banquette seating in the waiting area for the patients. The carefully selected materials added to the ambience of the space and lent it a warm and welcoming aura.
