Nearly a decade later City Graphics merged with an advertising agency and became Zoo. They required further renovations and additions to their premises. The merger meant an upgrade from an office of 20-24 staff to 60 at the most basic level.
The scope of works included the demolition of the reception area and replacing it with a “breakout area”, a kitchenette bar, joinery, fixed banquette seat and replacing the existing floor with black ink stained timber flooring.
A new informal reception desk was located in a more discreet position which allowed their clients to meander into the more welcoming space. Lexis Design successfully created a revamped sleek, comfortable and contemporary space with interesting elements to complement the space.
For this fitout, Lexis Design received a Highly Commended Award for Office Interior, Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011.
